Targeting dice, roulette, and slot machines, Twitch has imposed a partial gambling prohibition.
Videos of gambling websites that are not regulated in the US or “other jurisdictions that provide acceptable consumer protection,” as defined by the Amazon-owned livestreaming platform, will not be allowed.
The Curacao-based Stake.com and other cryptocurrency gaming sites are among those that are prohibited.
It will go into effect on October 18, 2022.
