Esports Tournaments - Call for Proposals

PLAYCON, in collaboration with the Malta Esports Association, is issuing a Call for Proposals to esports tournament organisers. The goal is to host dynamic live esports events or competitions during the upcoming PLAYCON Expo.

As Malta’s premier celebration of everything esports, video games, and more, PLAYCON stands as a yearly beacon for fans of this pop culture phenomenon in Malta. It brings together players, fans, creators, developers, and communities for an unforgettable experience that celebrates our industry’s vibrancy and diversity. Esports competitions are at the heart of PLAYCON, showcasing both local and international top-tier talent across a variety of titles and genres.

This year, PLAYCON is placing even greater emphasis on creating an inclusive, community-driven experience that embraces all corners of the esports ecosystem. From grassroots competitions to high-stakes matchups, to international events, we aim to deliver activities that are not only exciting but also welcoming and representative of the entire gaming community.

PLAYCON is partnering with the Malta Esports Association to assist with developing this proposal framework for choosing the activities and events that demonstrate the highest standards of quality, fairness, competitiveness, and professionalism.
